Thierry BERLU - Chairman

Thierry is Project Director Cash & Trade at Cash Management Competence Center for BNP Paribas Group in charge of the Global Channels. Thierry has extensive experience in the field of electronic banking due to his many years as advisor in large multinational companies. He has also participated to major IT and migration projects in order to develop the bank offer for corporates and to promote the digitalization of payments and signatures.

Boris BRUNNER - Vice-Chair

Boris is Head of Key Relations at SIX. He is responsible for key clients, industry and public relations in the area of banking services. He represents the Swiss banking community in the Board of the EBICS SC. He is also member of the Executive Committee of the Swiss Association for SWIFT & Financial Standards.

Jörg BERNHAUER

Jörg is Associate Director in the Banking Technology & Security team at the Association of German Banks in Berlin. He supports the activities concerning electronic banking standards for corporate clients in Germany. Besides that, he works on card security topics, cryptography and security issues of the digital transformation of banking systems and services. Jörg served as a former member of the EPC cards working group, as a former member of the governance committee of the German ATM & national POS system “girocard” and as a former member of the board of directors of the Euro Alliance of Payment Schemes (EAPS) in Brussels.

DI Harald FLATSCHER

Harald is Managing Director at PSA Payment Services Austria GmbH. PSA is a transaction service provider and the Austrian competence center for cashless payments and responsible for the processing of more than 1 billion transactions per year. He is also Managing Director at STUZZA GmbH. STUZZA is the hub for standardization and harmonization of payment infrastructure in Austria and represents the Austrian banking community in various European and international bodies such as EPC and EBICS. Harald has more than 17 years experience in Financial Services and IT innovation.

Dr. Hermann FÜRSTENAU

Hermann is Associate Director for Payment Services & Information Technology at the Association of German Banks (VÖB). At VÖB, he is responsible for electronic payments, including bulk and individual payments as well as interbank and instant payments. He has 20 years of experience in payment transactions and is involved in German digital projects (e.g. #dk) and European initiatives such as the Berlin Group. Hermann supported the development of EBICS in 2003 and promoted the standard in Europe.

Sophie GIORGI

Sophie is the Head of Payment System Relationship at Crédit Agricole Payment Services – she represents the Crédit Agricole Group in the French, European and International bodies of the payment systems, payment services, payment schemes and banking associations for the conception and the evolution of the rules and standards. In addition, she contributes to the Group's payments strategy in line with business policy decisions, is responsible for the corresponding flow of information to the various units of the Group and for the corresponding training.

Richard HAUKE

Richard is Senior Advisor for Payments- and Card Strategy Department at Deutscher Sparkassen- und Giroverband, the German Association of Savings Banks. He represents the German Savings Banks in various bodies of EPC, DIN, ISO and the German Banking Industry Committee (GBIC). In GBIC Richard initiated in 2003 the development of the Electronic Banking Internet Communication Standard EBICS.

Ivan HUANT

Ivan belongs to the Partnerships and Interbank Relationships department at BPCE Payments Services (subsidiary of the BPCE group dedicated to payments). He represents BPCE Group in various bodies at French and European level, such as payment systems, Clearing and Settlement Mechanisms, schemes, or banking associations. He has a solid experience as project and program manager in the payment area for 20 years at BPCE Group.

Dr. Olaf JACOBSEN

Olaf works at the Federal Association of German Cooperative Banks (BVR) as a adviser for the further development of online banking and card technology for the approximately 840 German cooperative banks. In addition to his experience in the production sector, Olaf, who holds a doctorate in business economics, is a professional in information technology. For BVR, Olaf was involved in the German Banking Industry Committee (GBIC) in the development of bank signature and payment cards as well as in the standardization of the financial transaction standard FinTS and the NextGen API of the Berlin Group.

Marc RIVALAIN

Marc is a Senior Advisor in the Interbank Relations Department at Société Générale. He has also been working for the EPC’s Payment Security Security Group (PSSG) als well as for various French banking and standardisation groups related to the security of payments and regulatory reporting. Marc has a very long experience with the EBICS protocol, in particular, he was a major contributor to the adoption of the EBICS protocol in France.
